We had a great cocktail club last month —
with a killer cocktail that you should all try.

We all kicked-off the holiday season with a Thanksgiving-food feast at The Ruin, hosted by Amy (owner of The Ruin) and Andrea from Bitters Lab. Basically, a perfect combo!

And of course, the cocktail featured some amazing local ingredients, but this lovely Mountain Sour could be created with any bourbon you have on hand.

This is a really simple cocktail you could recreate at home in just a few minutes!

Mountain Sour

1 oz Sugar House Distillery Bourbon
3-4 Dashes Bitters Lab Charred Cedar and Current Bitters
1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
.25 oz Cinnamon Simple Syrup
1 Egg White

Dry shake all ingredients and then shake with ice. Pour over ice in a rocks glass and garnish with fresh cinnamon, lemon peel, and a cinnamon stick!

This was a beautifully balanced cocktail and huge thanks to Andrea and Amy for hosting! And thank you to the bartenders at The Ruin for delivering beautiful cocktails to us throughout the night.
