It’s the week all the cocktail nerds wait for!
NEGRONI WEEK!
This is a week generated by Imbibe Magazine and
Campari to get people drinking for a cause.
All around the country, $1 for every negroni cocktail purchased at participating establishments will be donated local nonprofits. And here in Utah, there are A LOT of establishments participating, including all of the Main Course Management restaurants and bars!
Last year, $324,634.82 was raised during negroni week!
USBG of Utah is also behind the scenes, pulling together establishments to get on board with donating to their cause of choice, Utah Rivers Council, a grassroots organization dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of Utah’s rivers and sustainable clean water sources for Utah’s people and wildlife. Most restaurants and bars will be donating to Utah Rivers Council, but make sure to check with the place you are ordering up your negroni — as they may have selected a different charity.
As negroni week kicks off, I was able to attend a fun media event where all the negronis that Main Course Management restaurants and bars would be offering. USBG was there, along with Beehive Distilling and Utah Rivers Council, to talk about their participation and support of negroni week. You can also find more if you check out Team Negroni Utah on Instagram, as they will be posting negronis from all 24 participating establishments in Utah throughout the week.
So, get out and drink for a cause! Also, make sure to snap photos of your negroni and take Imbibe Magazine, Campari, the restaurant or bar that you are dining at AND use hashtags #TeamNegroniUtah and #NegroniWeek!
